A Note on the Drive

The road to Apache Oaks winds through some of the most beautiful high desert landscape in Arizona. Take your time and stop to look around. The drive is part of it.

A heads up. Apache Oaks is a genuinely remote property, and the last 4 to 7 miles depending on your route is unpaved dirt road. It's manageable and well worth it, but we want you to arrive confidently and without drama. We recommend a vehicle with decent ground clearance. If you're unsure about your vehicle, reach out and we'll give you an honest assessment.

The final stretch passes four neighboring properties, so please drive 5 mph to keep the noise and dust down. Our neighbors (and their dogs) will thank you.

• Tucson International Airport (TUS) — 1 hour 15 minutes and recommended for most guests
• Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) — 3 hours and wide range of flight options
• Nogales International Airport — 30 minutes and no commercial service.  Flying yourself here? Nogales may be the perfect landing spot.
