At Apache Oaks, the whole property is your space. Every corner has been designed — or discovered — with gathering in mind.
The Dining Hall & Lounge
The social heart of the property. An indoor dining and lounge area, complete with a fully equipped commercial kitchen, spills out onto a beautifully lit outdoor dining patio set among the oak trees. String lights overhead, long tables, good food, better company. The kind of space where dinner turns into storytelling that somehow finds its way to the wee hours of the morning. This is where stories are made.
The Screened Pavilion
Equal parts gathering space, celebration hall, and everything in between. Our 18x40 screened pavilion is one of the most versatile spaces on the property. Set it up for a yoga session, a group workshop, a milestone dinner, or a family gathering that gets a little too fun. Open-air feel, protected from the elements, and endlessly configurable. If it involves bringing people together, this space can handle it.
The Oak Tree Ceremony Space
Some settings just know how to hold a love story. Amongst the oak trees, original church pews are arranged around a beautiful ceremony backdrop — naturally lit, naturally stunning. The perfect setting for saying "I do," renewing your vows, or gathering your people around a moment that matters. The kind of setting that makes photographers weep with joy and guests forget to check their phones.
The Fire Pit
Where the real conversations happen. Large, central, and magnetic. There's something about a fire pit that makes people pull up a chair and stay a while. Bring your stories, your s'mores, your guitars, your drums, and your people.
Vignettes & Lounge Nooks
The little corners that become your favorite spots. Scattered throughout the property are cozy sitting areas — intimate little vignettes perfect for a quiet conversation, a morning coffee, a good book, or just watching the oaks do their thing. No two are the same. Find your favorite spot and claim it before the dogs do.
The Tree Platforms
Elevated in every sense of the word. Nestled beneath the oak trees, these elevated platforms are made for slowing down, breaking out, or breaking it down on the dance floor. Morning yoga, meditation, journaling, a nap in the dappled shade, an impromptu dance floor, a breakout session for your group, or just sitting quietly while the rest of the world catches up. These are the spaces guests talk about long after they leave.
The Covered Gazebo
Away from it all — even when you're already away from it all. Tucked away from the main buildings, this sweet sheltered spot is quiet, private, and all yours. Perfect for an intimate gathering, a quiet retreat breakout session, a morning meditation, or simply a place to escape the sun with a glass of wine and good conversation.
Prayer Hill
The most sacred spot on the property. Perched above the land with modest benches facing out over the oak grasslands and the wide-open Arizona sky — Prayer Hill has a way of quieting everything down. The kind of place people wander up to and don't want to leave. Whether you're marking a moment, seeking stillness, or just need a view that puts things in perspective. There are no words for what it feels like to be up here. You'll just have to see it.
Games & Outdoor Fun
No agenda. Just good old fashioned outdoor fun. Because no outdoor gathering is complete without a little friendly competition. Apache Oaks comes stocked with the classics — horseshoes, cornhole, bocce ball, giant Connect 4, and a tire swing that will bring out the kid in absolutely everyone. Fair warning: the bocce ball tournament always runs longer than expected.
Explore the Land
The property rewards those who wander. With 25 acres to roam, there's always something new to discover. Wander through the oak trees, follow the natural contours of the land, or take the one-mile loop that winds through the property. When you're ready for more, slip out through any one of the gates onto national forest land and keep going. It's the kind of place where a morning walk turns into an hour of unexpected peace — and nobody's complaining.
You won't be wandering alone. Apache Oaks sits in one of the most biodiverse regions in North America, and the wildlife here proves it. Keep your eyes open and you might spot Coues deer moving through the oaks at dusk, wild turkey crossing the property at first light, or a coatimundi making its way along the tree line — not something you see just anywhere. Birders will have their hands full with the variety overhead and in the brush. Coyotes call in the evenings, javelina wander through, and on rare and lucky occasions guests have spotted bobcat, black bear, and even the endangered Mexican grey wolf.
